Thanks for the response Einion, the stuff I use is called Artgel and made by W&N-it will be interesting to see how Carl gets on with this "New" product...........I think Jacksons have probably tagged it as new as they seem to be the first to bring it in from the States.
I only use Acrylics in the main for basecoats so on larger scale figures where you are covering wide areas (I should use the airbrush) it is difficult to avoid getting paint into the Ferrule area-this why I thought the new product might have some advantages...............waiting for feedback Carl

Well it hasn't worked on my pate.
I tried it on some dried paint on my palette, it dissolved that.
It also worked on a couple of old brushes, so it does the job.
Any better than Mangers at half the price?.....
No not really.
