Sculpted in 1/12th scale (150mm) is this resin kit depicting a british soldier on internal security duty in Northern Ireland carrying an SA80.

The helmet looks to be a para helmet style, with netting cover. Is there any chance of an option with the standard mk6 with the strapped cover? ;);)

A lot of guys removed the elastic because it interfered with raising and lowering the visor.

The figure is as shown John with the para helmet but I have the MK 6. I'll post a pic. It is going to be produced as a coldcast bronze presentation piece but I have some moulds for resin kits.

True, although we were not allowed to. I just fancied a mark 6 helmet so I could try to make a visor and neck knape for it. This is more like a para helmet as it doesn't seem to have the ears of mk 6
