I wish there was a list of Verlinden figures with the sculptors. I would say this is by Sid Horton - to me, the face looks very much like one of his. Some of the old 120mm Verlinden figures are fantastic - as good as any produced today IMO.

In fact, I've just found a post on PF where someone said that Sid sculpted many of Verlinden's Napoleonics as well as the British paras.

Interesting Edward, thanks. At different occasions the name Julian Hullis popped up associated with the better Verlindens figures, but I've not been able to get this confirmed. I don't have experience with Sid Horton's sculpts, but will surely have a look now. Thanks.

Super figure, I would never have guessed it was Verlinden to be honest. I love the shading on the cammo smock, perfectly executed.

Although others have remarked on it, this is a crackingly good adaption of an very ordinary casting.
I've always been put off by the wooden poses of Velinden figures, and only ever bought one so as to make a major conversion anyway.
you just prove what can be achieved.
Fantastic work mate.

Hi Adrian,
Very nice enhancements, great looking smock. Just goes to prove again, there's life in some of the old Verlinden figures yet. Nice job mate.
cheers
Richie

Thanks so much harto, Paul and Richie for liking him. Very glad you do, and to hear he has lost his 'stiffness'.

Cheers,
Adrian
