Arriving in Young's traditional sturdy black box with all parts sandwiched between layers of foam. The small parts are sealed inside a plastic zip-lok bag to insure against loss during shipping.

I'm sure there were "porky" paras, even after the gruelling training but alas...not for me.
I'd prefer a strong jawed, steely eyed hardened brit, than rather than a jolly looking re-enactor type face.

Great review and good detail on the figure.
I think the face has a wry smile from the Young's team saying 'we can do other faces'.

Look at him, and think of the criticism over the face back when the release was announced. As confirmed by above comments, this is quite a face, and doesn't deserve the criticisms it got when the release was announced.

I was one of the harshest when this company did disappoint. But this one does not disappoint.

Hi Ngai,
I think that you are miss reading the comments made in this thread, I think that everyone agrees that this is a great figure with good detail. The comment on the face was not that it was a poor sculpture but that in some opinions this guy was well fed for a British Para who are normally rated as "fat free". You are right this figure does not disapoint and is probably the best bust sculpture from Young Miniatures.

Cheers,
Keith
