ahahahah thank you very much!!!!

this is the forst figure (my 8th one) i'm working really hard on, patiently, trying to detail as much as i can..while for the previous ones i used to be superficial for details or cotrasts

Posted in this way it should be better

the piece after highlights and some shadows

and after finishing the whole face and hair

during this long period i worked on the figure base, what do you think about it?

while for the figure i only painted his hat, i'll post some pics as i can take them

made the lights, now it needs some shadows, not too much layers and not too dark, because i started with a dark red base for this. then i'll have to blend contrasts

i took several pics with different camera settings... choose the one you like most :ROFLMAO:

the 'illhave to paint a very little 30 on the hat....if i can't, consider this hat as a chinese copy :D

Do you know how this should be painted?

another step!

sorry for the bad quality, as usual, of the pics

don't worry about the white, i have to paint lights and shadows after placing it on the figure.. then i'll correct any mistake

the black box is painted as scratched...even if you can't see very much

painted again replacing the blue with a grey-blue tone

i have to correct on his left side where there is some previous blue left

i worked on the gun too
then i have to paint the hands and the gun's belt

FINISHED!!!! i'll take pictures of the other side as i can...the ones i made were not so good...

this piece has been "converted" from 30th rgt on foot to 1st rgt, as you can see from blue cuffs, instead of the yellow ones that i painted before

there are errors...on the white tones, but they were difficult, both for the color itslef and for those little parts on the jacket... the next one will be better ;)

You have made a great start and as you say the next one will be better. Well done all round on this figure.
Regards
Bob
