I am due to start the Dollman mini's 42nd Black watch bust.
My concern is with the bayonet being on top of the musket and not to the side.
Which is correct?
Thanks
Bob

Thanks Tony,
It did not look right and trying to find info on the internet is a mine field.
Out with the filler and drill bit.

Bob

Thanks Gary,
The filler has nearly dried on the musket so will attempt to relocate the bayonet. Other detail's are simple to do (who am I kidding)
Thanks again
Bob

Hi Barrie,
Thank you, I Don't have the ref you have shown. I have looked at Osprey's Wellingtons Highlanders and the bayonet appears to the right, I know the bayonet did not have a retaining ring till later, so the bayonet may not sit on the barrel properly.
I have decided to go to the right and have made a new bayonet shaft, with the cut out for the lug. I also plan to replace the front sling swivels. (God help me).
Thanks again Barrie

Best regards
Bob

Paul,
The photo came from the Dollman website, so I am a little puzzled why they put the bayonet on top of the barrel. I have reworked the barrel and sling swivels and added detail to the butt plate.
I will do some photos and upload soon. I am in between two figures at the moment.
Regards
