What colour is buff, as in Continental army? I'm thinking English uniform and Iraqi sand. Or the option is German camo beige, its for this.
Thanks in advance,
Carl.

I suppose you could describe a manilla envelope as being buff.
Vallejo medium flesh tone 70860 looks buff to me,but so is light kahki from Humbrol or dessert sand .

I can't help you out with a colour mix mate but I love the choice of figure , it should look great once you've settled on your colour scheme . Why not try and pick up an old airfix George Washinton kit and add a horse to this figure . "A trooper without a horse is like a Tank without tracks"

Thanks fpr the suggestions.

I've found that English Uniform and Iraqi sand gives a nice warm colour. By increasing one or the other, that’s the highs and shadow. Then a touch of Ivory for the highest highs.
Thanks again Daniel,
