well it is almost clean my room after twenty years of dirt but here is the question what type of furniture do i buy for this so i can work in my room? any answers other than working on the floor? please answer this one will you guys.

Marc, start with a comfortable chair and desk or bench that is a comfortable height. Good lighting is extremely important as well. You might look at the workbench thread on this forum and others to see what their setups are like. I think most of the figure and armor forums have a thread like this.

I would suggest getting an old computer desk. They are nice in size, easy to move around and are just about the right height to sit and work for extended perods of time. Also a nice chair is good, although my chairs are nothing fancy at all but after spending 100's of hours in them they feel just like home!

Beer fridge,drinks cabinet..
book shelves lots and lots and lots

Like Anders I also use an old computer desk. They're huge (mine is) and have lots of handy spaces and shelves on the side and underneat (to put the hard disk or a printer and stuff).
Make sure your have lots of natural light or blue bulbs and of course some bookshelfs for your million books and last but not least a glass cabinet to present your pieces

I have a old desk from my hospital. It is a heavy (metal) and it is 1.75m x 0,80 m deep.
It is easy to clean and alot of room to put some things on (i mean there is alot off stuff that i don't use when i'm painting).
Beside the large deskroom, i have 4 drawers in. So when i bought a new figure, sneaked it in, i save it in there so the misses cannot complain.
To sit when i'm paiinting i have a chair on wheels (old bureauchair)
So go for it.
Marc

Like everyone else a chair and desk/table are the two essentials. Art tables/desks are good as well as a computer desk. If you table/desk is without drawers invest in a small organizer of sorts to help keep the tabletop clutter down. It does not take much for the top to be overrun with odds and ends of all kinds. As for a chair, get a GOOD one. Office and art store carry all kinds get one that you can comfortably spend hours in. As John mentioned also look at your lighting. I'm sure typing in LIGHTING using the search function will get you some ideas.~Gary

i am very sorry but i do not drink beer just grape juice and apple cider-the real stuff.
