As you know it takes some time and effort to put a figure on the market . I would like to gauge what interest there would be in a fairly risky and in all honesty not a too appealing subject before I commit to making it.
I`m proposing to sculpt a british soldier 70`s 80`s of the BAOR wearing Noddy suit, battle bowler,58 webbing and a choice of smg or slr. and a choice of heads mask on and mask off, in 120mm
anyone interested?? or:stop:

Hi Moz ,

You ask a very good question ..I have many "happy" memories of these very smelLy and hot suits ...running far to far in one!!!

The subject is certainly different ..personally I feel it would be better as a bust with a head option maybe with the mask in his hand ..probably a little biased .

Is it commercial..IMO I would say its a 60/40 split in favour

If you go for it I can help with details ..blimey I can still smell the impregnated suits and the S6 respirator and then the S10 !!!

Hi Moz,

It's a good idea to sculpt subjects which are off the beaten track so to speak.

Not sure I would buy it as all I remember from the NBC stuff was streaming eyes, snottery nose, wearing it when I was freezing and regretting the same when I needed to pee..

Would it be worth considering sculpting a figure of the Iranian Emabassy siege. That way you get the s6 in and flame retardant coveralls. Maybe even a bust as I know Verlinden did the 120mm figures for OP Nimrod.

Not for me Moz sorry not interesting enough even though I went through all that shite. Gells has a great point there are no decent OP Nimrod figures out and since you are hanging to do a Ressie.......

Like the others it wouldn't bring back happy memories seeing a noddy suit but it is an interesting concept Moz but I think you'd be on safer ground with Op Nimrod (y)

I dunno, when it was freezing cold I liked nothing more than being told to suit up and put those silly rubber boots on, courtesy of the ministry of funny walks. you might look like kunta kinte`s god son when you took it off, but it was a lot warmer.
