Ron,
Are you stopping with modelling, or just figures???
I riding my racingbicycle every day for more then 1 hour, in the weekends 4 hours. Eating not much.
And also I'm growt in witdth :D
I think the hormonal disabalance and response in the older body is the cause of the problem :ROFLMAO:
Marc

......you are probably right my friend......actually.....on second thoughts.....mad.....on yer bike.......as we say over 'ere :wideyed::inpain: :ROFLMAO:....I am getting wider by the hour !!!

Wouldn't mind taking these little ones off your hands good sir.

H & V Knight of the Lion Order bust £12
Galapagos Kazhatdram £20

Cheers.

Ron, I'm very shocked to hear you've decided to move on from figures because of your obvious talent.
And if expanding girth was a measure of figure painting suitability my last figure would've been completed back in 1982.
Of course, it's all a matter of art of our own creative urges which often see us move into others areas, but I'm interested to know what you will now do to satisfy those creative urges........cheers Mark S.

Hi Mark, thanks for nice sentiment mate.
It was a very hard decision after 40 years on the brushes. I have noticed a decline in the standard of my work of late. So I have reached the stage where a change of direction is needed.
There are a couple of projects I want to finally realise. Far removed from what I have been doing. They will take me back to my roots in airbrushing large scale pieces.
There is only one figure I would love to do before I change direction, and that is the CGS Chasseur, my favourite regiment of any Napoleonic. So you may see one last piece from me yet mate.

Cheers
Ron

Many thanks to all of you that have brought the figures, and I hope you enjoy them.

Very best
Ron
I don't, two in particular I hope burst into flames and set the work bench alight :X3: You know who you are :shifty:
In all seriousness Ron I hope you take a break and come back to the fold as your work is top notch and of the kind I want to emulate
Steve
