Hi all,

Just finished this one - HD Models Commonwealth Bren Gunner in 1/35 in oils and acrylics. I added shoulder insignia to depict a member of Canada’s Lincoln and Welland Regiment in the spring of 1945.

The base is a plaster cast from Barbakan as are the bricks. The rubble pile is tile grout and the bollard is from MiniArt.

A cracking little figure Brian.
Was gutted I missed picking up at SMC last year.
Lovely sculpt (digital?) nicely completed in your style and complemented with base.
Great seeing you working on these smaller figures as well as busts - anymore on the bench?

Thanks Mike - been a while since I’ve done something this small. It is a nice piece - don’t know if the main body pieces were 3D printed but the equipment and weapon all come on a 3D printed fret.

I’m back to busts for a bit but I do have another 1/35 commission piece in the queue.

Thanks again - cheers

Hi Brian

Apologies missed this , a lovely piece of painting and a smaller scale

Particularly of note for me is the leather jerkin and the facial work

Nice presentation adding the final touch

Thanks for sharing

Happy benchtime
