Captain William Kidd

Started to paint this Andrea Miniatures figure, bought this about 5 years ago, until yesterday it stood assembled and primed in my stash waiting to get finished.
I don't know why Andrea labeled this as Kidd, looking periodical paintings this figure does not resemble Captain Kidd at all, not even the Kidd in the movies.
Today i got the face almost done, i used Andrea acrylics for the flesh, Vallejo for the hair and beard.

Im always amazed what people can do in these tiny scales, I would be more than happy if I could achieve this in 120mm
