Hi everyone, I wanted to present one of my last works of the year.
It is a scene sculpted by Stefano "the Lebanese" D'antonio for The Bodi in 1/35 scale, for which I made the boxart
At the conclusion of the battle for the conquest of the French city of Carentan, which took place on June 14, 1944, which allowed the reunification of the American troops landed on the beaches of Utah and Omaha, elements of the airborne troops and infantry were finally able to rest, having established a firm bridgehead in the Cotentin peninsula.
Here an engineer from the 326th AEB (Airborne Engineer Brigade), 101st AB Div., and a T5 from the 4th Inf. Div. Celebrate the conclusion of the battle with the "liberation" of a bottle of Calvados.
