Started this one while waiting for the Celeucid to dry, a bit of filing and filling
to get to painting stage BUT well worth the effort as it comes together really well.78948

when i try the photo disappears as well, but will work it out eventually.
The undercoating is in humbrols:)

Hi Eduarto

Yes it is early to comment it was just to show the fluidity of the piece.

Had a look at your stuff ,really like your metal models napoleonics I
have ordered my first one of them should be here tomorrow

PS your 90mm Carabiner, who makes this.

Cheers Ron

Ron:

Looks like a must have piece. What Humbrol colour did you use for the armour undercoat? Looks to have a pinkish tone to it.

Paul

HI Paul

Humbrol matt No 70 itis a kind of mahogany brown it is air brushed so a bit of revell matt 88 is shinning thru as this was my original undercoat for the metallic parts but don't think it will matter to much as i will be using humbrol metal coat 27003 the above paints have been in my box for some years so the numbers may have changed

Ciao Maco
I am trying a couple of different approaches with this one.

If you have got this one you will know it needs a bit of prep but it comes together well, the shield will be a challenge I think

Ciao Ron

Hi Ron a great start mate, I do hope you bring this down to the Darlington show next year so I can see it in the flesh.
All the best
Dennis

HI Dennis nice to here from you mate, euro was fun! Hadn't given the Darlington show any thought but now you mention it I think I will take a pop down.
the Dacian is in very early stages but I am looking forward to the detailing.

I am going to do a 54mm mounted ,haven't do one of those since the late seventies if it works I will bring to the show.

Ron

ron, that face should be a lot of fun to paint! carl does such great stuff!

HI Bill

Done most of the armor today

The face should be a piece of cake to paint , he is squinting so not sure how I will do the eyes as they are very narrowed, having said that things can always go wrong :)
