Hello,

I present you my next (large) bust. It is the 1/9 Sergeant Masterson, with the captured French eagle.
The bust is sculpted by Carl Reid, produced by Stormtroopers: http://www.stormtrooperminiatures.co.uk/pedestal-pieces-19th-scale-busts.html
Painted with Humbrol Enamels and metal colours from Fredericus Rex Printers Ink.

I hope you like it.

Ben

Hi John, thanks for your comments.
Usually I use a mix of red (nr 60) and dark red (nr 153) as basic colour. The first shadow I use a mix of dark green (nr 30) with dark red (nr 153). For dark shadow I add some black (nr 33). Highlighted with basiccolour and more red (nr 60). Highlighted with a mix of red (nr 60 ) and flesh (nr 61). To get a dirty look, I use some shades of dark tan (nr 26), leather brown (nr 133), brown (nr 62) and black (nr 33). All matt varnished with TESTORS spray lacquer.
I hope it helps.

Ben
