I finished to paint this bust yesterday. Celtic Warriors 1st C. BC - Battle of the Beast (Young Miniatures) 200 мм. I used acrylic and tempera for painting, as always

Hi Olga, beautiful painting as usual. In my old fashioned way I am still sticking to oils, but every time I see one of your pieces it makes me want to try tempera.

I think acrylic and tempera have the same properties, so I use them the same way. They just have different colors that give a larger palette. I use the tempera as wash over acrylics and acrylics over the tempera. And I mix tempera and acrylic (some acrylic can not mix with tempera, but this happens rarely ) . This is just my opinion, I could be wrong.
