A Fixture
Hi guys,
I've been very busy travelling and working over the past few weeks, but have finally made a start on my latest figure, a 54mm beauty from Andrea, Centurion Lucius Vorenus who was the lead character in the HBO mini series "Rome", played by actor Kevin McKidd.
I've sprayed the figure in black auto primer first and then applied a coat of Tamiya Fine White primer from above to accent the highlights. The effect is pretty cool and quite artistic and helps to define the shadow areas for painting.
As always I welcome any advice, comments, criticism and sugestions on the figure.
As for the historical accuracy of the mini series "Rome", I know there were elements of Hollywood in it and if that was a problem for you, I recommend you take your complaints to the producers. It was a historical drama series, not a documentary. I loved the mini series and I'm enjoying the figure. That's all there is to it.
