Now I want to present my version painting of the wonderful centurion bust from Tartar Miniatures. Sculptor Sergey Savenkov. 1/9, resin kit.


Painted with acrylic, oil.

The painting on this figure is excellent and has brought out the best from this sculpt. A number of planeteers, including myself felt there was something lacking in the face when it was first announced and I hate to have to say this but it looks like 'Parker' from the old UK Thunderbirds tv puppet series. I just does not do it for me

Hi Sergey, you have done a superb job on this bust, the eyes and overall face tones have captured the age and experience of this man beautifully. I have to disagree with Ken I think the face has bags of character and is a nice departure from some of the George Clooney types often portrayed on busts ((No offence intended to GC)
