Well, I am calling this finished. A lot bigger than I am used too, so I will stick to 75mm and below.
The bust has some great detail in the buttons and the badges, although I added the buckles and straps to the bottom of the cartridge box. While taking the photo's I bent the ram rod, Bugger.
Hope you like it

Well Bob,it's turned out very nice mate, like the addition of buckles to the cartridge pouch, the shako is nicely done as well,I'm sure the ram rod will straighten out mate and a nice presentation as well.

I had seen it in the flesh before I brought it, so I knew what I was taking on. I have a few more busts in 1/16th to crack on with now.
Thanks for the comment, very much appreciated.
Cheers mate

Very nice work.
It could be your photolight, but when the colors are not washed out, you could do some more shading.

Marc
Hi Marc
The shading is there but has been washed out by the lighting, its another dark art am trying to master.
Thanks for looking

A nicely painted bust.

I've currently set my camera to 100 ASA, use a tripod, fix the aperture, use no artificial light (or absolute minimum) and let the camera take whatever time it needs.

Cheers
