my take on this is a combination of the grenadier below, and giving him a civilian waistcoat
anyhoo it's at the block undercoat stage, and apart from adding a scar to his left cheek, the face is almost done.1796 Grenadier 001.jpg

Paul,

Looking great mate really like the scruffy Clothing that has been sculpted and very well painted

Like the change to waistcoat , always fancied adding a striped waisty on something like this

Thanks for sharing

Nap

That's coming along very nicely Paul, and the face is looking great.
I like your choice of the civilian waistcoat and look forward to seeing this develop.

Cheers,
Andrew

Very nice Paul, I see you have also been turned to the Dark side.
Any more in the pipe line.

Non M'sieur le Bob.

This is my last bust before xmas, apart from Sgt Hakeswill, and a partridge in a home made pear tree.
then I start my long awaited project, the 1/32nd waterloo diorama, with legs.

Andrew,
I loved your version of this and said I couldn't wait to begin mine on your thread.,
I want to make it different to yours so people can't compare them.
Hope you like the end result as much as I've enjoyed seeing yours completed mate
Paul
