This has turned out really well,I love the addition of the fallen plume as well,a great piece Paul :)

Thanks for your comments Brian.
The detail on this would be perfect for your eye mate!
I am going to do some micro detail painting at the end,
There's still room to 'play' some more with this.
I have an idea for the buttons that might add something.

Paul

Thank you Paul, I have mentioned you on Keith's thread as you both have been fantastic and I'm really chuffed to see you both enjoying the bust. As I posted on Keith's here is a favourite picture of mine, you will know it I'm sure. As you mentioned before about our guy ending up being on Brians base as a grumbler , I thought that was fantastic and when I commisied Offo I did think, he went from Egypt with a young Napoleon to the bitter end, through Moscow and finally Waterloo. Anyway, thanks mate as you both bring life to a vision. It's starts as an idea, Offo sculpts in this case superbly. You gents paint and enjoy and we all admire and then wonder, who was that man, history is second to none :) my kindest regardsView attachment 211416

I have that book :D

Hi Paul,

Looking good mate really has been brought to life ....bit of a dandy with the waistcoat ...curtesy no doubt of what was very soon a headless aristocrat !

What's the idea about the buttons then?

Enjoy Telford mate

Catching up Paul.
Great work Mate.
Your plume is a very good addition and as shown in a lot of the illustrations.
The waistcoat came out very well, again from what I think is the original print that Palo used to sculpt this super bust.
Superb progress Mate, really like your painting style.
App the very best,
Keith
