This is looking very nice Paul, like the worn battered look giving the feel to the period of the Terror

I was thinking that myself Brian, and at thr time I paid gra for it at euro, I also was thinking,
wonder if he 'grew up' through the campaigns of the empire to be an imperial guardsman in a bustarama ?:)
Thanks for looking
Paul

Looks great Paul! Fantastic face... tons of character!

I'm very curious about your planned Waterloo diorama... come on, spill!

Looking forward to seeing this one completed.

Hi Paul,
Absolutely brilliant, I know we have spoke outside PF, but wanted to echoe that you have done a brilliant job. I posted a cast to Pavol last week for his library, I hope he will sculpt for me again as I love his work.
Best wishes

Thanks Gra, that means a lot it really does.
Not only a great sculpt mate, but your casting is absolutely top notch.
Not a blemish, bubble or any sign of flash.
More piccies later when I've had a kip !

Thank you Paul, I have mentioned you on Keith's thread as you both have been fantastic and I'm really chuffed to see you both enjoying the bust. As I posted on Keith's here is a favourite picture of mine, you will know it I'm sure. As you mentioned before about our guy ending up being on Brians base as a grumbler , I thought that was fantastic and when I commisied Offo I did think, he went from Egypt with a young Napoleon to the bitter end, through Moscow and finally Waterloo. Anyway, thanks mate as you both bring life to a vision. It's starts as an idea, Offo sculpts in this case superbly. You gents paint and enjoy and we all admire and then wonder, who was that man, history is second to none :) my kindest regards

In reality, he could have ended up being our old guard with the colour, well why not, they came from ideas and personally I think he was. His face was a bit gaunt by Waterloo but he had seen a bit by then. We have filled the gaps and built a picture and I love it, can you imagine the stories he could tell :)
