Coming along nicely Keith, enjoy the Caravan holiday and watch out for roving Jeremy Clarksons :):)(y).
Thanks Gary,
Always good to hear from you Mate.
I must say here and now that I am with Clarkson on the caravan front...........I hate it. So any friends looking in We will not be offended of you offer to put us up.
All the very best
Keith

Hi Keith, sorry for my late reply mate. Fantastic and thanks for the kind words but it's only what the customer deserves. When I see this and from friends it makes it all worthwhile :) I hope to make a trio of this campaign by Pavol so very open for ideas. Cheers mate, superb :)

HI Gra
Cheers for looking in Mate.
I guess my point is that the customer doesn't aways get what he deserves but CGS aways beat expectations.
Looking forward to the next two in this camaign. Maybe a Voltigur with another war torn uniform.
All the best Gra and more power to your elbow,
Keith

Hi Keith,
Thanks mate, I will post this on both the threads as Paul and yourself have been gents to me and I am stuck between both you lol. Here is one of my favourite paintings, it to me shows why I am so fascinated in the French armies. I think our fellow is in the front of the cloud, to me the painting says it all. All we try to do is capture it 3 dimensional and every putty mark and brush stroke is a tribute to history :), and then we wonder, who was this fellow I painted, what was his life, where did he come from before he joined the hussars or chasseurs etc etc, truly truly fascinating and the questions and ideas will never end.

Wow,
Wonderful painting and your words are Profound, touching and timeless gra.

At this time of year you could preface Agincourt or Trafalgar with those words mate.

A great sentiment.
You are not stuck between mark and I either mate, you are providing us both with the same quality.
I'm sure Mark, myself and evryone else that buys your figures and busts appreciate the care you put into our cabinet wonders.
They may be our big boy toys , but represent so much more.

I can't wait for mark to get his oils out,
I love andrew's version, mark's is going to be great, I'm loving mine,
I Hope you enjoy all our finished results,

Paul

Keith ,

Just found this , must admit it looks very nice as a piece ( looked at it several times at Euro) and you have made a great start on the flesh and bicorne.

Looking forward to seeing more particularly the uniform blue

Thanks for sharing

Caravans...with or without a horse in front?...he he

A great painting Gra and great words from you to sum up everything that is this fine hobby.
Like you and many of the guys here I spend far to much time chasing down and visiting sutch paintings.
My biggest problem is so many ideas and not enough time to bring them to the bench.
As Paul says there is no stuck in the middle Mate. I am sure that once these two are finished they will be quite different.
I must say that I am fan of Pauls work, just need to understand why he keeps calling me Mark?
Best wishes and keep up the good work everyone'
