Hi Victor

Inspirational work , a fine representation of the famous painting , well modelled cleverly using various scales for effect and great finishing presentation

Hi Kevin,

I believe that some manufacturers have recently produced this last stand vignette or similar, eg Andy Cairns, Andrea, Beneito Hidalgo etc.

I was into wargaming then, the Featherstonian way. Then free kriegspiel. Then discovered the joys of true 1/32 figures thru airfix and Historex.
Those wargaming figs were just gathering dust. When I decided to explore shadowboxes, it made sense to make the most out of my figure collection.
You are clearly a similar age to me then. I started wargaming when Don Featherstone and Charles Grant were the leading lights and then got into Historex figures and figure painting in the early 70s......

I’m clearly not. Wuz a toddler then and discovered their books in an antiquarian bookstore hahaha

I bought a huge stack of Historex kits when they were first closing down. These and Airfix are the mainstay of my hobby.

Ive added some more natives to the right side of the diorama to mask the bkgd to base interface. This also increases the size of the native forces, This is finished.
