Not looking forward to pulling this one out of my grey army Colin but you have done a fine job so far. I always find that finishing the last 10 - 20 % is the most challenging. Don't rush it

lol, just take your time Colin.
I rushed to do some touch up on my chasseur today and endup poping out the torso from the legas and the side of the coat i added with magic sculpt fell off,so now i have to glue it back together and on top of that i have to re-do that part of the coat and lower side of the vest
So i will have to wait all day to get home and fix my stupidity so DON'T rush.

I hear that!
I hung the sheath and sabretache way too early and had to redo all the sword harness last night as well as fiddling with the reins... apparently my hands are too big for handing lead foil without mashing it every couple of minutes

It's getting oh so close....

I feel the pain mate, i was so annoyed this morning after screwing my work up.
I should have waited to finish work,go home ,relax and work on the details.
I hate what those accidents happen,sometimes ends up in a better result than before,but time consuming thou .
