Fellas, hope you like this one. I finished it today after starting on it in January sometime. I am happy with it, although during it's construction I swore I'd never do another mounted Napoleonic ever again. Where have I heard that before? ;) Please shoot away with your opinions...

Fan-freakin'-tastic Anthony! I like the dapple on the horse. The flesh on the figure is spot-on! Nice work. You should be proud of this one!

What a joy for my eyes. Anthony in your case I would keep on painting such beautiful figures. Great blues and flesh tones. The horse is awesome too.

Hi Anthony

Great looking figure, good blues, nice flesh, beautifull horse. You should paint in this scale a little more often mate, I take it will be on the table at the weekend.... :)

Well Done Mate

That is really well done, Anthony. The dapple gray horse is one of the best I have seen. (y)

Fellas you are too kind by far. That computer program I got which enhances how figures appear must be working!
Yes, you're spot on, it's a '90mm' Poste Militaire. Really it's nearer 120mm and weighs a ton...
I tried to sneak it past as a trumpeter, thanks again to Dave at Bonapartes.co.uk for supplying the trumpet. And the rest of the figure, I can't recommend it highly enough. It was my job to sculpt the hand which holds the trumpet. This drove me mad. I think in future I'll leave the sculpting to Roy or Marizio or Leo Seo, Le Van & the other experts ;)

Pat - you're spot on! A change is as good as a rest & my next thing will NOT be remotely Napoleonic!
Thankyou boys...

Wow, a beautiful paint job on a great figure. Your flesh tones are most impressive, and the horse is right on. Very nice.
