Hey guys,

I had a very nice time this weekend in Chicago. I was on the quiet side but those there know what I am talking about!

The show was really nice and it was a great chance to see a ton of Bill Horan figures. There was a collection of his figures being sold off and I was able to take quite a few pictures but unfortunately I missed quite a few, so if any one has any please post them. Here is a link to just the Horan figures and I will keep adding more to the Chicago link as well.

I really enjoyed seeing Stephen Mallia, Bob S., Jason Green, Jay H., David Hood, Mike Blank, Dan T., Matt Springer, Doug Cohen, Bill Horan, Greg DiFranco and many others work. I have to say that many of these looked so much better in person

The dio of Mike Blank is an incredible thing.
Again thanks

Seb.

Hey guys,

I have added more to the Chicago show. Thanks for the kind words.

I have really been motivated to get back to the bench since the show.

The Abbey road was by Paul Marshall. It was really cool.

Seb,

Seeing all of Horan's work and Mike's really gets the blood going!

Thanks for the pics. Glad to see some of Horan's work from the past that I'd previously only seen in his Masterclass book. Plus the other works you have up from this years entries is phenomenal. Thanks again for posting.

Thanks for for posting the gallery Joe. Some beautifully painted figures and of course because of the distance:D it was great to see my painting of Dan's Somme vignette there. I wish I could have gone with it.

Dan,
why the heck didn't I see you in Chicago? I wanted to really put some "faces-to-avatars" if you know what I mean and I did get to see many folks, but we didn't run into each other. Next time for sure! I did see your work in person though, and that was a pleasure, keep it up!!!!!

Thanks for posting those, Joe. I had my camera with me, but decided to leave the picture taking to those who are actually good at it. :D

It was great to be able to place more faces with the names from the Planet as well as meeting with friends again from previous shows. I hope y'all had safe trips back home.

I know how you feel Jay. I missed meeting Dan at both last year's Chicago show and last spring at MFCA. He managed to find me this time around. :)

Now that we're all inspired by this weekend, it's time to hit the workbench!

Cheers,
Wendy (who needs no last name) :D

Hey Wendy,

It was nice meeting you and your husband. I am not sure if I know what I am doing with the camera either!

I have added more pictures today.
