I've been modelling figures for about 2 years now and have entered 1 or 2 comps, but last weekend at the Scottish National Scale Model Show in Perth, came as a surprise. I didn't get anything in the figure vignette category but I did walk away with :​

Actually I have a very selfish, sexist reason for being pleased when the ladies do well... "What can that possibly be?" I hear you ask. Simple, it's very easy to dismiss us as silly old men playing with toy soldiers, but with more women getting involved, that argument falls to bits! Ron T's dress notwithstanding.
