I've just completed this vignette of a german knight clashing with one from Poland at the battle of Grunwald
The figures are from crecy models and pegaso respectively but I hope you agree go together very well.

Peter,
You paint this extremely well.
But i wonder that in the battle the gambeson on the horse is used and the cloak and parade helm would be at home instead at the battle.

thanks for the comments guys
Marc can't agree with evrything you say ,the horse's caparison as well as carrying the knights coat of arms had a practical purpose it was padded and quilted to offer some protection on the battlefied.
the knight is wearing a pig faced bascinet not a parade hemet although whether the ostrich plume would have been worn is perhaps a little less certain .
The cloak imuch more conjectural particularly as I added a fur mantel and the battle was fought in July !
However I enjoyed painting the cloak and it does add something to the figure
