I hope soon post a thread in Open Boxes, as soon as I could take pictures of these two little known brand of WWI 1/32° resin figures;
-Martin Hille Kellerkind Miniaturen/ Knights of the Sky

-Wings Cockpit Figures (WWI & WWII pilots and mechanics)

WWI figures

WWII figures.
I think an OPEN THREAD BOX is necessary because photos websites do not convey the true quality of these figurines.
I write a lot, but as passionate of the first World War, I love to share this passion.
Attention also to trade policy Kellerkind MINIATUREN, it seems that they are limited edition figurine, some are longer available on their website or in their distributors.

Yes nice figure and i can help with the sculptor.

It is Martin Hille himself.

A great sculptor here from Germany.

I like this figure, very nice

I didn't mention TOMMY'S WAR, and MODEL CELLAR because :
1/I think these two brands are very well known in our circle of enthusiasts of figurines of the first World War:angelic:
2 / The subject of this short article more concerned pilots and mechanics of the war
(OK, Model cellar produces only Pilots):shy:
3 / For TOMMY'S WAR, no jealousy, I wrote a thread in the open box section on their last three novelties.
4/ I'm impatient concerning the next new figures from TW, MC and others brand.:wideyed:

I was joking and don't want to hijack the thread, which is for a really great figure. I was hinting that my release for Euro Militaire includes two RFC pilots.

But back to this figure, which is a great release.

Have a look at Martin Kellerkinds shop and you will find some more nice figures for project with WW 1. Perhaps something like that without a plane

Hi Zastrow curassier,
thanks for showing it. Yes I know, at the moment I'm verry carelessly. I'm working the last months on a new webshop and so I don't find the time, to put the new articles in the old one. I hope, within the next 4 weeks the new shop will works. And no of my figures are limited. But sometimes they sold out faster than I think and then I must wait impatiently for new ones

Best regards,
Martin

Martin thank you for these explanations.
It is true that up on your website, we wonder if some figures are still produced.
This is still thank you for the quality and originality of your figures, I also have the whole range.
I look forward to future figures ... And why not some countries like France, Italy, Russia..!
Regards.
Luc

Hello Luc,
thank's for your kind words. I promise, I will make a lot of originaly figures in the future. Why no France, Italy, Russia figures? The main reason is the following: I din't have pictures or other informationes about this pilots and uniforms. And I have so many ideas for German and Brittish ones for the next years :))) But perhaps, why not, in the future. Thanks for your toughts :)

Best regatds,
Martin

I Martin,
Just if you want to have a look on other countries Pilots or Aces jus have a look on:
http://www.firstworldwar.com/features/aces.htm
Choose one of this pilot, for example :
Godwin Brumowski ( First Austrian ace for WWI for thaose how didn't know him)
You will have a photo and a biography.
You cool also use Google search with the name and find interesting thing for this pilot :
godwin_brumowski.jpg
brum2.jpg
brumowski400pxalbatd3.jpg
01.jpg

It's only an example of what is very interesting for WWI Modellers, hoping that Wingnut, Roden or an aftermarket brand will make a complet or a conversion for having a Albatross D.III Oeffag in 1/32°
What will be great also is that Arenau, Schiffer, Windsock, Cross & Cockade, A&C will produce a book will all the WWI countries Aces or famous pilots (the 3 one's of each nation wil be wonderfull)
If i can help you do not hesitate to contact me.
Best regards.
Luc
