Yes I have, a friend of mine in Oz did a conversion and I loved what he did so maybe sometime in the future.

Hi Steve,
Thanks mate, it's the use of oils over acrylics I'm finding better results with, well for some things. Early stages yet with the painting but it's going OK. I think the arms and head will need fixing in place before I move on with it.

Hi All,
I found that I needed to fix the head and arms in position. This turned into a bit of a 'mare with the fitting as I needed to slightly trim/fill the joints and over handling the torso and arms spoilt the paint work, so I have had to set about re-doing it. There is still lots to do and I would appreciate any critique, pointers or feedback on the blues which is oils over acrylics and I have only used various shades of blues and would like to know if I should incorporate other colours.

He's looking very well Richie,
A job to tell in photographs but is the blue deep enough Mate.?
It is good to see your trade mark weight on the front foot again. I Do admire how well you can get this pose so realistic.
