yes thank you, its a good feeling to get an award, when i look at other models at the show i would give them all awards, its a great event and i love this hobby. but i will re do the figures, paint numbers on the rifle butts and folow all advice given, thank you very much/badger. ps barrie i forgot to get your autograph, maybe next time/badger

Congrats on the award Badger. Personally I would leave them as they are. That way you can use them as a yardstick to gauge your progress as a painter and dioramist (if that's the right word!).

I made the mistake of stripping down a load of my early figures that I was no longer happy with - before deciding that I had so many others to paint besides that the interest and motivation to re-paint my previous efforts was simply no longer there.

In consequence I later regretted going down that road, especially since I now only have a couple of my early efforts remaining that escaped the stripper.

yes i know what you mean, i have done the same and the figures go into the to do later box and never come out again, because new figures or models come on the scene and your easily distracted/badger
