I've been so busy renovating the kitchen this past month that I've barely had any time for hobbies. So I was especially happy to put the final few touches on this FeR offering the other day. It's the first one of my World Expo souvenirs, and I hope to get a start on the others soon. Now, on to the tile back splash......

Very nicely done, but surely not Light Infantry , but Light Cavalry ? Boots and a trumpet suggest a mounted soldier.

I think you are correct Tony. From the uniform and helmet it looks to be a trumpeter of the 3rd Continental Light Dragoons or Baylor's Horse. They wore white coats with blue facings, and with the usual reversed colours for trumpeters they would be blue coats with white facings.

I have the same kit on my workbench! One of my favorite Continental Cav Regiments! Thanks for sharing!

I just realized I mislabeled my original post! Of course this is a member of the Continental Light Dragoons, not infantry. It even says so on the box it came in! Well, that's on me.
