Sleeves looking good , patches work possibly lighten up the " tartan" a little for it to show up more

Thanks Nap. Will certainly consider lightening. I think I'll paint the cuff first and see how the contrast is then. Food for thought! Regards Pete
 
Morning everyone! A bit more progress before we go to Crete for a week. Finished the haversack and have faded out the storekeeper's stamp on it with some glazes of Vallejo acrylic buff as it looked too dark to me now that more has been completed. Next challenge is to finish the shirt. I'm going to use an off white using blue as opposed to an off white on the trousers using brown. Hope this will show a contrast between the two...that's the theory anyway! Regards Pete
