Some more work on painting John Shaw. I have nearly finished the figure. A little bit more sculpting on the horse and then ready to paint.

Nice work so far. The sculpt is excellent and the paintwork is beautiful... I like your painting style, not overdone, crazy highlighting style... much more clean and subdued.

Thanks Alan, appreciate your words mate. glad you like the steel work. I usually use printers inks for this but thought I would try the Vallejo Air acrylic metallic.which is a much finer pigment to the model colour metallics. The colour I used for the sword and scabbard was chainmail silver .Must admit I was very impressed with the metal finish for acrylic.
