Ah ha ha ha... I'm not quite the hunchback, yet. But I share the squinty eyes, bent nose, long mustaches as this handsome cat... and within a few months, my scalp lock will be equal to or longer than his.

Today it has been going on with the first cheek ...:

For more the time is not enough, because the super fine weather becoming today I will enjoy outside ...

149. Day, June 8, 2015

After a crowded (vintage car event, barbecue looong bike ride) weekend in the best weather I do today continue with painting.
The other cheek is ready. Under the eye, it looks a bit dirty, which is that I have paibnted with skin color over the edge and smeared something on the lock of hair.

But that will be still reworked...:

@Nap:
No, only the dancer and the singer, for these are my first figures painted with oils.

@Gaudin:
I know it takes longer, but this "step by step"-method works better for me.

I think I have delivered a quite nice figure so far and I do not want it at the "finish line" - the head - botch yet.

Cheers

The second side of the neck and throat are now ready ...:

If I screw up and nothing more needs to correct anything, these were the last brush strokes with "skin color" in my character.

Speaking of "skin color":
Mixtures of these colors were used for the head...:

And for the mouth area this ones...:

Still missing mustache, eyebrows, hair curl and scalp hair ...

Thank you, Joe!

Today I have dealt only with the painting of the lock of hair that falls to our hero's face. Once "slip" would have meant painting the parts of the eye area again.

But has worked well ...:
