After mounting the Body and the legs to each other I start now with the small parts of the kit.

There are two saber belts and the end of the sash from white metal in it...:

The fitting is again - as far it was to be proved in experimental tock - perfect.

However, I have decided to go to a different solution!

Last year I had made Andy's Cossack, and this kit contained a wild waving sash ...:

For this rather quiet standing figure it was - for me - too wild - a friend had indeed modeled me a new one, which I had also used ...:

But this moving sash was still in my sparebox. And for this wildly moving Cossacks it is exactely right...:

With "Proxxon" scalpel and sandpaper of various strengths I have the little thing now first cleaned and then modified so that it fits later.

After that the part was washed and primed ...:

That's it for today.

Looking really good Martin. Now that the body and legs are joined, a clear idea of the figure shows just how good alll the separate parts come together.

Let's see what he looks like with his head back on his shoulders. :)

Coming down to the short strokes... look forward to seeing this guy finished.

Keep going

Colin
