Yesterday I noticed a spot of fit between the torso and the legs...:

It is not the sculpt, I did just not paying attention when gluing together!

So is what do ...?

The easiest solution is to sculpt with a small Piece at the bottom of the sash. Here, the biggest problem is again not to mess up the finish painted parts to the right and left.

What can I say - it worked ...:

The sash at the man ist ready painted with this Colors...:...

Painted is also the interior side of the sash's end - seven if you will not see them later ...:

Then I got my blue tones out again ...

... and changed the the light-/ shadow-situation play on the left side of the butt. The change is minimal, but I find it more plausible ...:

Martin,

As always your attention to detail on everything is top class ...the small light changes add something extra ....really looking forward to seeing him with the head .

Is he going to be on his own or with another cossack ?

Any thoughts on a base yet?

Thanks for sharing

Small Bonding - great effect: I have just fixed the sashes Ends at the figure, again with two-component adhesive.

While I had correctted the loops of the part I had previously tried x times the angle at which I best affixes the thing to make it "taking with" the movement of the figure the best - and I think this is the perfect angle ...:

What do you think ...?

In general it looks great. The sash seems like it could use a touch more contrast between the shadows and highlights, but it may very well be just the lighting in your photo.

You do fine work Martin, and I'm eager to see the next phase!

Joe

Thanks Colin - but wait a little with the scene - I will explain in a few days...

Today I started with revissing the eyes.

before they looked like this...:

Now they look like this - much better, I think ...:

(Oh man, macro is really cruel ...!)

Then I removed the small head of toothpicks and labor cork and fastened it with two-component adhesive on the figure.
The fit is - as usual by Markus - first class. Rework? De nada ...:

Here, the now almost finished figure again in original size ...:

I still can hardly believe that my trembling hands managed it to paint these tiny reflex points on the irises ...

Sorry for the quality of today's images: Outside there is a deep gray with snow showers ...
