Looking very good. It is interesting how medal were displayed in such an haphazaard fashion until the late 19th century.

Iffyvision update

All details on lower jacket at rear completed ...piping done in putty for the shaped edges the centre one is fine lead wire

Any comments welcome

Off to put in a safe place to dry overnight fully ..then it's the sash

Indeed Mike on of the attractions of this piece .....and very often not with the same style clasps or mounting bar for medal

In my sculpting of them looking at the original medals there are differences to the portrait so combined a bit on mine

Bit of an update as I can't sleep !!

Worked on the cane he is holding ...not the best picture as ipad iffyvision but will come together painted

Since taking picture I have thinned down the top

Will slightly sand down the details before painting

Great eye for detail and great sculpting my friend, keep up the awesome work!
 
Couple more ref pics ...

Will need to add the piping at the shoulder edge on the epaulette

Verbal update ...sash now in place , epaulettes on , piping on ( less edge as above ) , laurel leave on epaulette done

Will do pics once I have added the globe on each epaulette

.....then it's " just" the right arm badge !!!??

Going to let this all dry then the right arm badge ! ....thinking about working it grease proof paper and then putting in position

Grease proof....was going to do the badge on it and then put to arm position ...lots of bits and bobs to it ...need to think this out
