From experience the best figure manufactures with the best customer service are Pegaso and Verlinden, the worst is by far the Soldiers company from Italy.

Andrea isn't too bad at least they will reply to your e-mails, but they want a sworn notorized affidavit with receipts before they send you a missing part.

Soldiers not only will they not send you a missing part, they won't even bother to reply to your e-mails, they have the worst customer service in the world.

When buying a figure, please make sure the company that makes the figure has a good customer service dept, it will save you a lot of agravation.

This topic comes up on a regular basis and I watch the postings with interest. I would like to make a statement for the record. All Michael Roberts Ltd products are guarenteed. If any part is found to be lost or defective will will replace it immediately. I have always prided myself with our customer service and want everyone to know that we stand by our products. We have never refused a replacement part and usually only ask where you bought the kit.

In the 14 years I've been doing this we screwed up one time and a customer didn't get his part. This customer from California left a message stating that he had a defective part. I wrote the number down and erased the message. After calling him several times and getting no answer I lost the phone number was never able in touch with him. If you are out there please call again.

We all make mistakes in packaging and miss bad parts from time to time. Regardless of the reason we will replace your bad or missing part.

I haven't bought any figures directly from any of the mentioned manufacturers--but I have figures from all of them. If you buy from a distrubuter, they will, as I found out once with Model Warehouse, replace the kit.
It is unfortunate that this wonderful realm of e-commerce, that has literally opened up the world to us as consumers, has also brought us in touch with troublesome (to be kind) retailers, scammers, and outright theives.
The upside is that we have way more to choose from. And from my own experience (knock on wood) I have NEVER been burned by any of my internet transactions, whether with retailers or ebay. After more than five years of happy internet purchasing I consider myself lucky, I guess.
The retailers that give bad customer service will eventually wear out their welcome with consumers--the grapevine is nortoriously fast--and they sure as heck wouldn't get any play from me!

BYW--I recently bought a Michael Roberts figure from Squadron (Pvt. Mathias Shamp)--it was perfect in every way! :)
