Nice!
Its good to see a US Paratrooper figure with a Garand and not wearing gloves.

Hi John,
WOW, great face - intense, assured, defiant, focused and tough. What's not to like. I do have one critique:eek: and side with Joe.......you don't post enough:D.
cheers
Richie

John,
Outstanding work! Really like your conversion work, it seems more natural, not to take away what you did for Pegaso. It just looks the part. Missed you at MFCA.
Ditto what others have said, need to post more!

Best Regards,
Rod

Saw this one in person at the SCAHMS show. It looked even better in person. The face is a portrait of John's son - who i had not seen since he was just a boy. Where did all that time go?

Great piece!

Beautiful figure. Reminded me of Peyton Manning as a soldier at first................................

Hello John, I always love your works and own most of your 1/9 figures, and this reminds me of Mohawk one. Wonderful work again.

What material did you use for sculpting? I want you to share your SBS sculpting large figures someday.

thanks again everyone. The figure is a casting from Pegaso and I only changed the hair for my personal rendition (what you see here). Kaz the master I did for Pegaso was sculpted in Magic Sculpt...my proces includes head and hands sculpted in Chavant P-40 clay then molded then work with a resin casting.Weapons and various items are mixed media -styrene, wire etc whatever works. Attached couple finished sculpt photos including a 75mm Rev War piece from years back-same process
