Michigan Toy Soldier now handles the Da Vinci line of brushes. The Series 10 brush line is probably the finest currently available -they hold a sharp point long after most of the other professional brushes that we carry 'fan' out. They are lasting longer with acrylics than my old standby Winsor Newton Series 7. I discovered these in Germany this past winter and have been using them ever since. The rest of the line is just as good - the inexpensive brushes do a very nice job for the money.

I haved used them with Humbrol enamels and Winsor Newton oils with no problems. I have found that acrylics tear up brushes more quickly than other mediums - at least for me!

I have been using these for the past 12 months. I have found them to be as good as the Windsor & Newton No7 on both oil and humbrol, excellent buy and highly recommended.

A few friends of mine have also been using them on acrylics with excellent results with good flow properties.

Cheers

As many other things from the "outside world", I would have no luck to try this burshes unless I buy them abroad.

Just a suggestion a read sometime ago form a fellow spanish modeler regarding brushes and acrylics: try with a drop of olive oil (yes! the one used for salad dressing) after washing your brushes.

Despite any logic, water based solvents rot faster brushes hairs.

Cheers!
