Hi Folks,

Thank you guys for the kind words. It's still far from completed as far as I'm concerned. The low res pics do help mask a lot of the brush marks. :p

Nice one Calvin! Who sculpted this one? It does not look like Taesung's work to me. Just wondering......

Mike, I do believe that this is a Taesung sculpt. The treatment of the drapery bears his signature trademark - detailed and complex.
This is probably his most elaborate sculpt - decked with a full kit and the highly detailed boots.

BTW will you doing another figure for Alpine anytime soon? :)

Hi Jose,

it's far from finished as far as I'm concerned. I'm trying to squeeze as much free time as possible to get this finished. The next challenge will be the boots with all the intricate laces - and not to mention the kit.

Laurent,

well off hand looking at my palette, I can tell you that Hookers green, Pthalo Green, Raw Sienna, Cadmium Orange, Yellow Orange, Naples Yellow, Purple Madder, Storm Blue, Titanium White and Carbon Black were used.
A myriad of hues were cut from these basic colors into to create the local tones, highlights and shadows.

Regards,

Calvin
