Have just finished this piece....a present for my partner. A lot of fun to do and, a good way back into airbrushing.
All the flesh tones were done with the airbrush, using the Scale 75 flesh set. Metals are acrylics, with every thing else in my usual oils.
I made the ponytail for the orc head from hair, and the sword is a customised piece from an action figure, using the blade (edge polished) and the hand guard, with the rest being scratch built.
Ground work is taken from the backdrop, using real stone and roots from a garden plant.

WOW! ... Ron, let me be the first to congratulate you ! ... what a fantastic piece! Its one of those visuals where you don't know were to begin! So I will start with the face. I don't think I have ever seen a more intense facial expression in a long time, but so subtlety done. (y) gorgeous but infinitely scary at the same time! The bodice is just a pleasure to behold. However what I most like about this piece is the skin tone! .. this is Elven! pale and subtle. I can go on and on! ..... everything is just very high quality. I will get back to you once I have absorbed more. .... Simply beautiful.

Superb back drop!!

Very high regards,.

Many thanks for your compliments Mark. She really was a fun piece to work on.
I am very pleased with the eyes and the airbrushed flesh tones in particular.
