Database for miniature photos

Hello planeteers !
Does anybody knows any good database program, suitable for our hobby, to store , categorize and print photos and comments of miniatures ? I'm intresting for a database that in each record could support multiply photos of each miniature.

I tried one several years ago, but found it was a simple Microsoft program with a few renamed columns.

I have been working on one of my own that would allow photos to be place in to an excel sheet set up for data entry on the figure, maker, date, colors etc.
Not being an adept programmer it is a long haul and I have hoped I might find someone who could ease my pain. I have also tried imposing the photo into a prebuilt word template.

Ralph thanks for your answer. The Office word, probably could bare lots of info but is not a "digital"/"dynamic" database. I'm gonna try the Access, but I do not know how could I insert multiply photos for the same miniature. That's why I would prefer an apropriate programme for figures.

I wonder if you couldn't use the I tunes program if you have an Ipod.
