I tried them today. I must say not at all impressed.
Tips like frying pans, that's when they hold a tip.
Be OK for groundwork that's about it.
Back to the Rosemary's,

I whas and I'am a big fan of W&N serie 7. Tried several other brands but nothing could impress me. So my last order to try something different and cheaper whas Rosemary & Co serie 56 (flat Kolinsky) but they don't hold as long as a W&N 7. I think after two metal figures the Rosemary is gone. The W&N stay's 4 -5 figures.
So if you want the best go for W&N

Hmmmm, mine are 1 2 & 3 and work fine with oils. Guess I will stick to Series 7 for the fine stuff after your experience. Maybe that's why mine were in a sale!

Splash the Cash Carl

Go for a series 7 Winsor& Newton ,will hold a point for ever ,Well almost

Ron
i agree 100% with you. I only buy Windsor & Newton series 7 "miniature" ,they are the best thing ever.
Just be careful cause the have series 7 and they have series 7 Miniature (that is the one you want to use).
Cheers
