What is it they say?... "No good deed goes unpunished"

I look forward to seeing how you tame the Chaos. I'd offer my help but... I create Chaos, I have no idea how to tame it :sneaky:

Good luck

I was about 4 years old when I raided ny brother's comic books and found this one, then I found the Ivanhoe issue, been hooked on knights in armour for 50 + years now.

I have to disagree on these, 'Rock/Pop-Stars', Musicians', 'Ballet-Dancers', or what-ever! .. Purely because if its not a 'Perfect' representation, it will be lambasted and annihilated!

That (Beatles etc.) could also be a legal minefield, concerning "image rights" etc. More so in some cases than in others I shouldn't wonder.

There were a couple of Boer 54mm figs done by Lasset years ago I remember the Oom Paul pipe one had

Colonel Hiram Berdan is an interesting subject....but one of his sharpshooters..Private Truman Head alias "California Joe" is somewhat of a colorful subject;you can google if interested...........Wayne

Colin :) I agree! Coincidentally, Berdan's sharpshooters are also almost forgotten in 54mm scale. The "sole survivor" that comes to my mind now is a creation made by Bill Horan about 25 years ago. It was based in this plate:

The reason I would love a bust of Berdan's sharpshooters is that most of contemporary sniping borns here. And this mammoth accuracy rifle would be a killer in large scale

As far as I know, it is so far never made, whatever the scale... Ain't the figurine world quite a niche ... would this be some sort of a tank we would have versions from Dragon, Bronco and AFV to choose. In our tiny corner we can only hope some great crafted artisan may sympathize with our words. :)

There are a couple of US Sharpshooter figs but in 75mm. The names of the manufacturers escape me but I have seen at least one on PF.

ACW is definitely up with my favorite historical eras behind Napoleonics, franco-prussian and of course, zaporozhian cossacks.
