I’ve started these superb 1/35th, sculpted by Pete Morton for Wee Friends. The helmeted heads from Hornet, there’s no particular reason for changing it, I just like the face. They will eventually end up standing alongside this Tamiya Quad.

Lovely start on the figures, Carl!
Excellent work on the quad, well done!
Eddy

The vehicle is very nice, the effect of dirt is very real, especially the splash of mud around the quad and in the windshield, nice detail.
I really like how you painted the pants of the first figure.
Very good start. I follow your progress.

Wow mate, lookin' at these it is hard to believe they are 1:35th. And I will
tell you candidly, my friend. . . ah . . . that lookin' at them I am starting
to get that Kermit THE Frog syndrome again. Whaaaaaaaaaa. . .

Oh Steve Readdie: I sent a note to you re the internet, and it came back
undeliverable. Another Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

Thanks chaps, I should have this done for FW. Not sure about the crew for the 25pdr, but we'll see.
Cheers,
Carl.

Excellent progress Carl.(y)
I'm convinced that this work becomes a wonderful vignette.
I'd like to follow.;)

That's spookey , The smoking figure looks just like a photo of my dear old dad in the same pose although the picture he's in was taken in Scilly after holidaying in North Africa after kick out the Africa Core , refered to as the D-Day Dodgers by Lady Astor (Silly Cow)while her husband riped of the country . One thing of interest is how blonde he and all his mates are , all there hair was bleach by the sun .
chippy

Dennis and Chippy, thanks. You can't see it in the photo, but he does have light blonde hair.
See you both at FW,
Carl.
