Hi to all, this is a figure sculpted by Ramon Labayen, he only casted a pair copies for a couple of friends. The inspiration for the character, comes from a painting by Felix Castelo, titled recovery of the island of San Cristobal, 1629.
I painted the cuirass using colors, not metal paints.
All comments welcome.

Delightful work - especially the armour using colours rather than metallics paints in the style of the old masters.

Cheers

Thank you very much to all. Certainly it was a no commercial figure, and he only casted a couple using the gravity casting method in a rectangular silicone mould.
The method to paint metals using colors is a simulation using a mixture of dark brown and dark blue and white, from darken tones to light, using a lot of water in the transitions.
The guy from Nocturna Models is a master using this technique, I used this model as reference.
