Hi fellow Planeteers,

Bet you never thought there were fairies like this down the bottom of your garden.

This is a 12" high originally bronzed resin Leonardo figurine that can be bought in a gift shop. I painted her completely in oils but the flowers are in acrylic. The wings are acrylic silver with several washes of thinned down lamp black oil.

Hope you like her.

Hi John ,

Thanks for posting some more pictures , its good to see how the "white" flesh tones look at other angle ..and they do look really good , delicate shading and what a bargain for a modeller ..think I will be looking in gift shop windows more often !!!

The wings have come out nice as well , its got a nice base with flowers painted in acrylics(y) ... the flowers around her really do look nice so well done on presenting this piece .

Are you going to put her on an additional base as well ?

Thanks for all your very kind comments guys. I really appreciate it. Kev, yes, I will be putting her on a base soon. At the risk of making her even taller!
